When I started looking at somewhere to stay in Bogotá the second time, I knew right away that I wanted to stay at the other hostel that Selina had there. Each Selina I had stayed at previously, between Costa Rica and Colombia had a different vibe. Scroll down to see what vibe this beautiful hostel had!

BEDS

This was the first time I stayed in a room that wasn’t the cheapest room at the hostel. I could have stayed in a cheaper room with some more people for about $10 but opted for a 4-bed room for $13 and it was awesome! My room was on the top floor and was set up like a standard hotel room (this building used to be a hotel). The only difference was that there was a loft with 2 more beds, thus making it like two separate 2-bed rooms. The beds were twins and very comfortable!

BAR

The bar here was pretty quiet and cozy, much like a Starbucks type of vibe. There’s plenty of seating and neon signs that are sure to light up your Insta feed! There weren’t as many drink options but this hostel definitely had more of a co-working/remote work type of vibe!

BATHROOMS

The bathroom in my room was similar to any hotel bathroom you’d find in the states. The shower got very hot with really good pressure! It was very clean and easy to share with the other three people in my room. It’s a single person bathroom which also adds some privacy.

STORAGE

With the room I stayed in, each bed had two storage lockers next to it which is a great perk! I was traveling with a pretty large suitcase that didn’t fit, but my regular sized backpack did! Had I been traveling with my larger travel backpack, it too would have fit easily! There is also a cabinet for hanging up clothes should you be traveling for a longer period and need the extra amenity!

NOTES

If you’re in Bogotá for work, or you’re a digital nomad, or simply looking for a quieter stay with great amenities, this hostel is perfect for you! It has a great co-working space, which truly sets Selina hostels apart, as well as a movie room!

VALUE

Selina hostels always rank very high for me on the value scale! With the beds, rooms, bar, amenities, and pricing, you simply can’t go wrong!
