Florence, Italy: PLUS Florence

Beds

I stayed in a 5-person dorm that had plenty of space and the beds were great. There were two bunks and one single bed and they worked great. Plenty long enough, comfortable, clean. Great option for a good night’s rest.

Bathroom

In my room there was a shower on one side and a toilet on the other. Both rooms had a sink which was convenient. I believe every room has a single person shower which is nice so you don’t have to even leave your room. Shower pressure was phenomenal which is always a pick-me-up at the end of a long day of exploring!

Bar

There are actually two bars at the hostel. One is outside near the pool, kind of a tropical vibe at night. The other is inside but I never saw the inside one open. Not sure why it wouldn’t be open in the middle of July during peak travel season. Opposite the bar outside is a sit down restaurant area where you can grab meals including a breakfast buffet (for a cost). There’s also a rooftop hang out area which has more of a party vibe but you have to go to the bar downstairs to get your drink, then take the elevator up to the top of the building.

Storage

Each room has storage lockers which is always a bonus. Bring your own locks however since there isn’t a key card lock provided. I honestly cannot remember if I even used the lockers at this hostel. But they do have them.

Notes

The hostel is a bit of a walk away from downtown Florence (maybe a mile or so), so you’ll want to plan accordingly when you leave for the day. I met some awesome people at this hostel so it’s definitely an awesome place to relax and socialize!

Value

I believe I paid about $26 which was on the high side for me. But in fairness it was the middle of July and last minute. I just checked prices and you can get this hostel for as low as $9! Check out the link below!
